Chapter U is an independent college counseling practice focused on helping students navigate the college process with clarity and confidence. We believe the process should feel purposeful, not overwhelming, and we work with students and families to approach each step with care, intention, and optimism.
College planning is not just about applications and outcomes. It is about learning more about yourself, exploring what matters to you, and thinking about what you want from the next chapter of your life. We help students reflect on their interests, tell their stories honestly, and make thoughtful decisions that feel right for them.
At Chapter U, we remove unnecessary pressure so students can feel supported and prepared. Our goal is for students to move forward feeling confident, grounded, and excited about what comes next.

College List Development, $75
Thoughtful guidance to help students build a balanced college list aligned with academic interests, personal values, and goals for the next chapter. Each engagement includes a guided conversation and a curated list designed to feel realistic, intentional, and confidence building. Follow up conversations or list refinements can be added as students continue to explore.
Essay Review and Feedback, $99/round
Focused support for personal statements and supplemental essays that centers on clarity, structure, and authentic voice. Each review includes tracked edits in Google Docs and written notes outlining overall direction, areas for growth, and suggested next steps. Most reviews are completed within five business days. Additional rounds of review can be added as needed.
45 Minute College Counseling Call, $125/call
Individualized counseling sessions focused on clarity, preparation, and confident decision making without pressure. Calls provide space to ask questions, talk through options, and gain perspective on any part of the college process. Additional 45 minute calls can be scheduled on an as needed basis.
